How to Manage School Trash

Trash is a residue of a business or activity [human] who are solid [in the form of organic and inorganic substances that are biodegradable and non-biodegradable] and is not considered useful anymore [so disposed to the environment]. Nature knows no trash, only recycled materials and energy. Only people who litter [result in the garbage].
All sorts of organisms that exist in nature always produces waste material, because there is no conversion process has an efficiency of 100%. Most of the waste material produced by organisms that exist in nature are organic [CHO ties, part of the living body]. Waste from human activities which can be organic or inorganic. Examples of organic waste are: food scraps, paper, wood and bamboo. While inorganic waste [the results of the process plant] for example: plastic, metal, glass, and rubber.
Garbage is a consequence of the presence of human activity. Every human activity must generate waste or garbage. The amount of waste comparable to the level of human consumption of goods / materials are used in everyday life. The population growth and lifestyle are very influential on the volume of waste.

Characteristics of the waste in schools:

School as a gathering place for many people to be the largest waste producer in addition to the market, household, industrial and institutional. In general, waste can be separated into:
  1.  Organic waste / nonperishable comes from food scraps, vegetable scraps and fruit skins, fish and meat, garden waste (grass, leaves and twigs).
  2. Inorganic waste / nonperishable form: paper, wood, fabric, glass, metal, plastic, rubber and soil.

Waste generated mostly school is kind of dry waste and wet waste only slightly. Dry waste is produced mostly in the form of paper, plastic and a little metal. While the wet garbage from a tree fallen leaves, food scraps and food wrapping in banana leaves.

Trash does have a huge potential to be used as electrical energy, because the production of waste each year has increased. School is one of the public places in cities that generate waste and require considerable power. In addition, the school is a place young people to study, so that the knowledge which a student in the school can be directly applied. In this case the waste is processed utilizing the knowledge gained.
Processing process can be done in a way to accommodate the trash in a big hole closed (depends on the ability of each school). Then, made a hole which is distributed by pipeline heat boiler to the simple tool (a tool to steam heat exchanger). Then burned garbage in the hole. Burned garbage will generate heat that will be absorbed by the heat conduit.
After arriving at the boiler, generating heat which is then converted into a vapor that can be used to drive a generator producing electricity. Then, the electrical energy produced can be used as a power source for lighting, school supplies such as computers, garden lighting, lighting in the cafeteria, etc.. Thus, in particular electrical problems at school can be a bit overcome. If electrical energy is generated, then the electrical energy will be utilized out of school or be fully utilized in the school. For example, as the street lighting in the vicinity of the school.
It can provide many benefits, among other issues in urban household garbage can be resolved, ease the distribution of scattered garbage, lighten the burden of government on the issue of waste, tackle pollution caused by waste, reducing the danger of mosquitoes, flies and other diseases, and even more so in when the feast of the coming of the rainy season streak plus, sehigga constraints as it is often the case in Bali can be done well.
Production of electrical energy independently conducted by skolah can reduce electricity production costs and ease the burden of electricity costs the school. In addition, the presence of such a breakthrough, with no deliberate will have a positive influence to students.
Some positive effects are: students will be skilled in applying science in enrollments and increase student awareness of the good lingkungna management, learning creativity (utilizing waste into marketable products), caring learning environment, students will also be able to provide input to the neighborhood that has the problem of waste management or electricity shortage issue to make use of waste in the vicinity, as a source of electrical energy.
Of ideas and explanations above, it can be concluded that the waste has a huge potential as a producer of electrical energy, because the number is increasing every year. Management of waste into electrical energy conducted in schools will provide multi-positive-effects on the next generation (students).

Weird ice cream

Around the world there are so many kind of ice cream flavors which are so delicious, like chocolate, vanilla, green tea, cookies and cream, etc.
But around the world there are some weird flavors for ice cream. I will tell you 7  the most weird ice cream flavors in my version, there are..........................
  • What better way to tickle your taste buds than with another tongue? Though Ox Tongue Ice Cream may not be the first delicacy to come to mind, its taste is nothing to have a beef with. Different cultures have different ideas of what ox tongue actually is. Anyway, if you feel the urge for some delicious ice cream, try it and see for yourself.

  • Wasabi Ice Cream. Sushi gets its punch from the horseradish paste known in Japanese as wasabi. While its tingling taste makes a delightful addition to raw fish, wasabi’s tangy flavor also makes for a surprisingly edible ice cream.

  • Raw Horseflesh Ice Cream. The mere thought of putting raw horseflesh into ice cream may be enough to produce plenty of naysayers. And, rightfully so. You can get it straight from the horse’s mouth, this would have to vie for the vilest ice cream ever created. The chunks of meat inside it offer ample proof of why horseflesh is usually used in dog food.

  • Garlic Ice Cream. At last! An ice cream that lets everybody around you know you’ve eaten it! Garlic-flavored Dracula Ice Cream is a summer delight you can really sink your teeth into. Designed to ward off vampires, this uncommon choice of flavoring may ward off a few ice cream lovers, too. Garlic may well be a wonderful condiment for an assortment of foods, but, as for a substance vampires really hate, this is bloody awful. Incidentally, Garlic Ice Cream was made in the tiny Aomori Prefecture village of Shingo, which claims to be the place where Jesus Christ’s grave is located.

  • Sesame, Soybean and Dried Kelp Ice Cream. This is a real winner, and about as healthy as you can get with ice cream, by combining three staples of the traditional Japanese diet that have made people into the longest-living on earth.

  • Pit Viper Ice Cream. The pit viper is one of the most dangerous poisonous snakes inhabiting the Japanese archipelago. And a bite into this reptilian flavored ice cream can certainly seem deadly. Pit viper is regarded as an aphrodisiac in Japan, but the terrible taste makes it hard to fall in love with this ice cream.

  • Charcoal Ice Cream. The “coalden” child of Japanese ice creams. A must-eat for the coal miners. Not cool, but undoubtedly “coaled.” An ice cream that could char reputations. But the taste? Char-ming.

The First Ice Cream Flavor

We know in the 4th century B.C. that Roman emperor Nero sent servants into the mountains to retrieve snow, which was then flavored with honey, nuts and other fruit toppings, but that’s not really ice cream because it contains no milk or cream. Some of the earliest frozen treats to use milk and cream originated in the Middle East around the 10th century A.D. These desserts were also flavored with fruit and nuts.

But if you're looking for the first modern ice cream recipes the stuff that most closely resembles the ice cream we know and love today. You'll have to go back in time to 18th century England and America. It was then that one of the earliest ice cream recipes was printed in a book called Mrs. Mary Eale's Receipts. Mrs. Eale describes making ice cream with "Cherries, Rasberries, Currants, or Strawberries".

It was around this time, or maybe a little earlier, that Europeans were working hard on perfecting the art of freezing flavored cream. They, too, added fruits to their recipes, but they also added grated cheese and candied orange flower. According to some article, not all of their creations were successes, as in the case of the pureed asparagus ice cream and foie gras ice cream.

So, it's likely that the first ever ice cream flavor was some sort of fruit flavor. You'd be inclined to think the first flavor was vanilla, because vanilla is the base for so many other flavors, but that would require early ice cream makers to add vanilla bean or vanilla extract to their iced cream ingredient and there's no evidence of that in the earliest days. Still, vanilla was one of the first widely produced and enjoyed flavors of the modern era (19th century to the present). Even today, vanilla is the number one selling flavor in the world, which is quite an achievement considering all the other great flavors in existence!

Ice Cream Cone

Cone is the first container were found to put the ice cream that can be eaten . An ice cream cone, also known as 'cornet' is actually a pastry used to serve ice cream and is prepared from wafers. The texture of ice cream cones is somewhat similar to that of a waffle. Cake cones, waffle cones, sugar cones and pretzel cones are the different types of ice cream cones. Nowadays, ice cream cones and cupcakes are used as containers for ice cream. However, edible cones were invented only in 1904.

Ice cream being one of the most popular edible items the world over, it would be interesting to find out how the ice cream cone was invented. During the World's Fair of 1904 which was organized in the United States, Ernest Hamwi used zalabia, a waffle-like pastry to serve ice cream. Arnold Fornachou, an ice cream vendor, had run out of paper dishes, which prompted Earnest Hamwi to use the zalabia as a substitute for them. He rolled the zalabia into a cone-shaped container to hold ice cream. Edible cones became instantly popular and people started using them to serve ice cream in the fair itself. Many people tried to take the credit for inventing the cone for using it as an ice cream container.

Lebanese immigrant, Abe Doumar built one of the first machines in the United States for making ice cream cones. Doumar created waffle type cones by adapting a waffle iron into a cone oven. However, Doumar did not make his first cone oven until after the World's Fair.
